Size Guide

At Xpert, we go to great lengths to ensure our workwear is accurate fitting, and that the fit of the garment is suitable for the application it will be used in. Inconsistent sizing can be frustrating, so our quality team ensure uniformity across our whole garment range. Wherever possible, we recommend you try on the clothing first, as it’s important you get the size that works for you so you can maximise your workwear’s comfort and safety features.

MEASURING YOURSELF

If possible, get someone to help you, and measure as close to your body as you can. Once you’ve gone to all the effort, save your measurements somewhere, because as an adult your measurements don’t change much.

Chest – Measure below the armpits, around the widest part of the chest

Waist – Measure just below the navel, above the hips

Leg – Measure from the crotch to the ankle, where your trouser is normally worn on the shoe

Height – For children, measure the child’s height, head-to-toe to determine which age group they sit within and then buy the clothes size accordingly

Where we say ‘To Fit…’ in our sizing tables, this means your actual body measurement, taken close to the body with a traditional yellow tailor measuring tape. The tape should be neat around your body but not tight. Always order one size larger if you are unsure or if your measurements fall between two sizes.
